Appeal Court: Tambuwal dedicates victory to Sokoto people, urges opposition to join hands with his govt

Following his victory at the Appeal Court yesterday, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal thanked God  and dedicated the feat to the resilience of the people of Sokoto state and PDP supporters in the state.
The Governor who was full of excitement, magnanimously called on those in the opposition to leverage themselves by join hands with his government to most be the state forward.
According  to Tambuwal, ” I am urging all party supporters and loyalists to sustain your prayer towards seeking  divine intervention for the success of our government.”
The governor who further acknowledged the rare mandate given him by the good people of Sokoto state, assured that his government would ensure the spread of human oriented development project across the state.
Meanwhile, the opposition APC Leader in the state, Senator Aliyu Wamakko who expressed gratitude to God said the party was on course for pursuing its  legitimate claims to retrieve its mandate.
Wamakko who spoke shortly after the Appeal Court verdict that dismissed the appeal filed by the APC Huber candidates, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto also urged supporters of the party to be calm and law abiding.
” You should be seen to promote peace. There is no cause for alarm and shun any act of violence. We are indeed  grateful for hr unflinching support from all and sundry n the state”, he remarked when he received crowd party loyalists that visited his Gawon Nama Sokoto residence.
Similarly in his reaction, Barrister Bashir Jodi who spoke on behalf of the team of Counsels to APC said he was of the strong  conviction without cause for alarm that”  is a battle that we are     hopeful of emerging victorious in our next line of action at the Supreme Court.
Jodi further appealed to APC teeming supporters in the state to remain calm, prayerful and law abiding while deciding on the next line of action.
