ARREST OF CHILD TRADING SYNDICATE: On 10th October, 2017 at about 1500hrs based on a credible tip-off, one Itopam Pius ‘f’ a Nurse at ECWA Church Eye Hospital, Kano, an indigene of Enehmen Village, Esan South East LGA Edo State approached a Lady at Sabon Gari Qtrs Kano and demand to buy a five (5) month old baby at a cost of N20,000.00K only when the baby was presented to her, she offered a payment of N13000 to the Mother. Investigation into the case revealed that the said Itopam was contracted by Mr.& Mrs Charles Mpaka Bobmanuel all of Akulga Village Akuku – Toru LGA Rivers State to acquire an infant baby boy for them. She goes further to fight and attempt to use force to confiscate the baby boy from his mother after making the payment before arrival of the Police. The suspect confessed to the commission of the crime, while the baby and the money offered were recovered. They will be Charged to Court immediately investigation is completed.
