In furtherance of his bid to assemble a crack team of seasoned politicians ahead of the 2022 PDP governorship primary elections in the state, Rt. Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru, yesterday released the appointment of Hon. Godfrey Ali Gaiya and Hon. Alex Guruza as Deputy Director General and Director respectively, of the Stakeholder Relations of his Governorship Campaign Consultative Committee.
Also announced are six (6) deputy directors for the various directorates of the campaign, among other state and zonal appointments made. They include:
1.Hon. John Bezard – Dep. Director, Organising
- Hon. A. A. Yaron Kirki – Dep. Director Youths
- Hon. Hadiza Mohammed Gyallesu – Dep. Director Women Affairs
- Umar Farouk Jakada – Dep. Director Contact and Mobilization
- Dr. Alex Manna – Dep. Director Research & Planning
6.Hon. Labari Tela (Accro) – Dep. Director Special Duties
- Hon. Ben Bako – Secretary, Directorate of Contact and Mobilization.
Hon. Gaiya, a two-term member of the House of Representatives, and all the other appointees are coming into the team with the right blend of experience and pedigree needed to steer Hon. Isa Ashiru to victory.
You would recall that Hon. Ashiru had earlier in the week announced the appointment of Hon. Abdulkadir Jibrin, Wazirin Birnin Gwari, Hon. Bashir Sakadadi, Hon. Allahmagani Yohanna, and Hon. Maria Dogo, as Chairman, Director General, Campaign Secretary, and Director Women Affairs respectively; and Alh. Salisu Maimasara, Alh. Sani Dogara, and Hon. Edward Masha, as Coordinators for zone 1, 2 and 3 in the state
