Former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, has reportedly said he is sure that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s presidential candidate and his former deputy, Atiku Abubakar, will be elected as president in the coming elections.
The elder statesman, who recently took a swipe at the administration of Muhammadu Buhari, described the president’s integrity and morality as fake and unbankable.
The New Telegraph reported that the former president made this statement on Wednesday, January 30, at the Island Club 2019 Quarterly Business Lecture held in Lagos state.
Obasanjo also said he has forgiven Atiku and he won’t be retracting his recent remarks on President Buhari and his government.
