Bauchi Governor Assigns Portfolio to New Commissioners

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has assigned portfolios to the newly appointed Commissioners in the State, a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Alhaji Mohammed Sabi’u Baba has indicated.

According to the statement, Prof. Adamu Ahmed has been posted to the Ministry of Lands and Survey, Aliyu Usman Tilde, Ministry of Education, including Higher Education, while Abubakar Ibrahim was posted to the Ministry of Works and Transport.

Others, according to the statement are Umar Abubakar Sade, who has been posted to the Ministry of Power, Science and Technology, Jidauna Tula Mbami, Ministry of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Hajara Jibrin Gidado, Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development, while Dr. Aminu Hassan Gamawa has been posted to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Development.

The rest are Turaki Mohammed Manga, Ministry of Special Duties, Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Ahmed Aliyu Jalam, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Social Welfare, Modibbo U. Ahmed, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, while Dr. Ladan Salihu was posted to the Ministry of Information and Communication.

Similarly, Sama’ila Ibn Adamu has been given the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development portfolio, Barrister Yakubu Bello Kirfi, Ministry of Justice, Usman Mohammed Saleh, Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, while Hamisu Shira is the serve as Commissioner, Ministry of Environment and Housing.

According to the statement, Mohammed A. Sadiq was posted to the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Nura Manu Soro, Ministry of Finance, Umaru Sanda Adamu, Ministry of Water Resources, just as Auwal Mohammed Jatau was posted to the Ministry of Health.
