The Member representing Mungonu-Marte-Ngalama Federal Constituency, Hon M. T. Mungonu, has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari and the Governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima, for their contribution to the growth and development of Borno state and Nigeria.
He gave the commendation in a chat with journalists in at the weekend.
While also commending the INEC, Mungonu said the electoral umpire were very professional in the discharge of its duties.
While pledging allegiance to the governor Kasshim Shetima, he said the governor has positively affected all sector of the economy, health, education and security.
Hon Mungonu said that the governor does not compromise quality in projects executed in the state that is why Governor Shettima is popularly referred to Mr Quality.
He advised the incoming governor, Professor Babagana Zullum to emulate the legacies of the outgoing governor. He said they are ready to cooperate with the new governor.
The election was peaceful, free and fair.
