This resolution was established during the National Church Denominational Leaders’ Summit, which convened at the National Christian Centre in Abuja on Tuesday.
Under the theme “The State of the Nation and the Way Forward,” the summit’s concluding communiqué highlighted the organization’s grave apprehension regarding the current trajectory of the country.
Church leaders emphasized three primary areas of concern: Worsening Insecurity, Economic Hardship, Declining Institutional Trust
The call for an emergency declaration serves as a direct appeal for immediate and decisive government intervention to restore order and protect lives across the country.
