The best-selling Canadian artist of all time and “Queen of Power Ballads”, Celine Dion has cancelled her Courage world tour as she continues to battle with a neurological disorder.
Neurological disorders are medically defined as disorders that affect the brain as well as the nerves found throughout the human body and the spinal cord.
The 55-year-old publicly announced in December that she had been diagnosed with the disorder known as Stiff Person Syndrome.
On Friday, Celine posted an image of her cancelled tour dates on Instagram with a bilingual caption in English and French saying “it is with tremendous disappointment that we have to announce today the cancellation of the courage world tour”.
She apologized to her fans and promised to refund purchased tickets adding that she’s “working really hard to build back her strength.”
“It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again.
‘I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!”
