The Adamawa State Governor senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has called on all Christians in the state to cease this very special moment of Christmas celebrations to pray fervently for the state and entrench Love and peace that is been thought as cardinal reasons for the birth of Jesus Christ.
In a statement signed by the Special Assistant to the governor on Press and Media Affairs, Martins Dickson, Bindow described the Christmas season as a time for sober reflection and intense retrospect to the adherence of the very essence why Jesus Christ was born.
“As we join our Christian brothers to celebrate Christmas May we all be reminded that we should strive to love one another as God loves and admonishes us by the divine birth of Jesus Christ”.
If we love truly and unconditionally as Christ teaches, our state and communities will experience peace, tranquility and uncommon development.
“As we approach electioneering in 2019, May the teachings and essence of Christmas permeate, love, peace, tolerance and brotherhood in all our communities”.
Bindow further adviced youths in the state to avoid been used by wicked politicians as instruments of violence and destruction during the forthcoming elections, he called for adherence to the laws of the land.
The statement further admonishes all to pray for a peaceful election in 2019 and a prosperous and glorious year ahead
