The annual award is organised by Auke Global Campaign Network (AYGCN), the organizers of the annual Auke Youths National Conference.
the conference is a youth oriented program chaired by Comr. Mark Uloko a Lagos based journalist, was launched in 2015 with the aim of promoting peace and love among the youth in Auke community of Benue state and also act as platform where both youths in Diaspora are brought together. This year’s event will be featuring dignitaries from all spheres of life and politicians in the state.
Conscience radio who spoke with the chairman of the event, Comr. Mark Uloko says
‘ This year’s event is more peculiar as it come at the time the nation’s political atmosphere is being heated with lots of campaign, and the youths need to be caution not to allow themselves to be used by politicians to perpetrate violence.”
He further stated that; “this year’s conference will witness the presentation of prestigious award of excellence to personalities who have distinguished themselves in all works of life so as to encourage the youths to emulate them.”
The theme of this year’s conference is; youths vote not violence, the necessity for building a better society.
And the event comes up 28th day of December 2018 in Auke Benue state with venue in ST. Joseph secondary school main hall
