The judge issued the order on Monday after hearing arguments regarding the former Anambra State Governor’s bail application. The court is scheduled to rule on the bail request on December 18, 2025.

During the proceedings, lead counsel for the former minister, Patrick Ikwueto SAN, urged the court to grant his client bail, citing the following reasons: Health Grounds and Low Flight Risk.

Despite these pleas, the former minister will remain in custody until the court delivers its ruling later this week.
