The Atlanta-born singer said he already knew Wizkid, Wande Coal and D’banj before moving back to Nigeria.

Davido said, “I remember being in the club, the biggest artists then were P-Square, D’banj…Then Wizkid was really young but he was coming up in the game.

“And I remember that moment, I was like, I want to do Nigerian music. I want to go on it early. I could already tell that it was going to be big.”

Davido also said that because his dad is wealthy, he started off as a star, adding that many A-list artists already knew him before he blew up.
