The Kaduna state disability board has expressed dismay over the inferiority complex character being exhibited by Persons With Disability (PWDs) saying it is retrogressive to them.

The excective secretary of the board Alhaji Haruna Yakashi, said this on the 3rd of july 2023, (today) when he received a team from ENACTUS Kaduna Polytecnic charpter.
He stressed that the PWDs should up their game by accepting who they are saying not accepting their condition is also a problem facing them.
Alhaji Yakasi also said one of the challenges facing PWDs is the unacceptance of them in the communities because of their nature, he added that even religious organizations are guilty of this because there is no Quran or bible for the visually impaired PWDs.
According to him, how can they worship their God if they can not read the message adding that some of the place of worship are not accessible to the PWDs especially those on wheelchairs.
Alhaji yakasi later commended the ENACTUS team for their support to the PWDs saying the board has a long benefiting relationship with them he also charged them to continue in that dimension as their contribution to the PWDs.
In his remark the technically director ENACTUS Kaduna Polytecnic Prince Adeoye, said the team are at the center to help in training the PWDs in some some skill acquisition such as tailoring, tie and die amongst others.
He further called on the board to take advantage of the online marketing and promote the product of the PWDs to the public.
