…Hon. Collins Aigbogun declares Esan West local government a danger zone to oppositions.
The Chief of staff to Edo State Governor, Hon. Osaigbovo Iyoha on thursday 16th May, 2024 held a strategic meeting with all elected members of Esan West Council and all the governor’s appointees in the local government, urging them to collaboratively work for the success of PDP and its candidates in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.
Hon. Osaigbovo Iyoha who noted that, the Peoples Democratic Party has the best candidates who have become a threat to the oppositions in the state, admonished everyone to join hands together and work tirelessly for the victory of the party.
“The Esan people are known for producing best brains as Governors. The two governors Esan has produced were professors and they performed marvelously well. Esan people are known for intelligence, sportsmanship and will never give priority to a mediocre to become Edo Governor”.
Hon. Iyoha made reference to Ambrose Alli whose records and performances he said, till date still remain unbeatable and incomparable. In his words, “the time is before us again to choose the best brain from Esanland as the next governor of Edo state and Dr. Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party happens to be the man to take Edo State to the state of eldorado”.
“It will be a consequential error for Esan people and the good people of Edo State to choose mediocre over a competent being who has made mark in every facet of life. Dr. Asue Ighodalo has proven to be a man of enviable leadership qualities and credentials and we must queue behind him”.
The Chief of staff to Edo State Governor who acknowledged Esan West as the local government in Edo Central with the highest number of voters in every elections, urges all the Councilors, SSAs, SAs and others present to spread the message of Dr. Asue Ighodalo and Barr. Osarodion Ogie to every nook and cranny of the Senatorial District and the state at large, noting that, the evil propagandas of the opposition to return Edo State to the era of lions and tigers will fail woefully.
The Executive Chairman of Esan West Council, Hon. Collins Aigbogun in his statement, assured the Chief of staff to the Governor that Esan West remains a danger zone to the oppositions. While appreciating hon. Iyoha for the strategic meeting, he assured everyone that the significant impact of the meeting will be evident in the September 21st governorship election.
The Special Adviser to Edo State Governor on political matters (Edo Central) Hon. Mrs. Philomena Ihenyen who spoke extensively during the strategic meeting, encouraged all present to remain steadfast in propagating the campaign messages of PDP and its candidates. She noted that the opposition is already scared of Dr. Asue Ighodalo as they are now regretting their mistake of nominating a governorship candidate who is not worthy to untie the lace of Ighodalo’s shoes.
