Forty-eight hours after the Kaduna State High Court verdict which permitted the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shi’ites, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky and his wife, Malama Zeenet, to proceed on medical treatment to India, the movement, on Tuesday, said it had not received its leader.
In a telephone interview with the Tribune Online in Abuja, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa Gamawa, a member, Resource Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), who spoke on behalf of the organisation said, the Department of State Services (DSS) told the movement that it was still on the process of releasing their leader.
According to him, ‘the DSS said they were on the process, and this is the matter of urgency. We are still waiting for them.”
