In a remarkable blend of faith, compassion, and enterprise, the Equipping The Persecuted (ETP) Ministry has launched its private-label coffee brand — ETP Coffee, with a mission to “save lives, one cup at a time.”

According to the ministry, the initiative — tagged “Coffee That Saves Lives” — will channel 100 percent of its proceeds to rescuing and rehabilitating persecuted Christians in Nigeria.

“Every cup you enjoy helps bring hope and healing to persecuted Christians in Nigeria. 100% of the proceeds go directly to rescuing survivors, rebuilding lives, and advancing the Kingdom,” the ministry said in a statement announcing the launch.

The ministry drew inspiration from the Bible verse, 1 Corinthians 10:31, which says, “Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

ETP Coffee comes in three specially curated gourmet roasts — Guardian Roast (Light Roast), Refuge Roast (Medium Roast), and Warrior Roast (Dark Roast) — each symbolizing strength, comfort, and resilience.

Judd Saul, Executive Director of Equipping the Persecuted

Speaking during the launch, the founder of ETP Ministry, Judd Saul, said the initiative was born out of a deep burden to respond practically to the suffering of believers in Nigeria.

“We wanted to create something that not only nourishes the body but also uplifts the spirit and restores hope,” the founder explained. “Every bag of coffee purchased becomes a seed of compassion — transforming ordinary consumption into an act of mercy.”

Beyond its rich aroma and flavor, the coffee brand represents a lifeline for many. Proceeds will go toward providing food, shelter, medical care, and security for survivors of violent persecution across Nigeria.

“This isn’t just coffee — it’s a mission in a mug,” the statement added.

Consumers can now purchase the new brand through the official website — www.ETPCoffee.com.

Background

Nigeria has witnessed an alarming rise in religiously motivated attacks, particularly in the northern and Middle Belt regions. Thousands of Christians have been displaced, with many losing their homes, churches, and livelihoods to violent assaults by extremist groups and armed militias.

Faith-based organizations and humanitarian groups have continued to play a key role in offering relief, rehabilitation, and advocacy for victims. The ETP Ministry’s coffee initiative adds an innovative approach — transforming everyday consumer support into direct aid for those facing persecution.

Call to Action

The ministry is inviting individuals, churches, and organizations — both in Nigeria and abroad — to join the movement by purchasing, distributing, or partnering with ETP Coffee. Supporters can also promote the brand through social media and community outreach programs.

“Every partnership strengthens our capacity to heal broken hearts and rebuild shattered lives,” the founder said. “Together, we can turn a simple cup of coffee into a channel of hope for countless families.”
