Former Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Zailani, has commended Governor Uba Sani for implementing policies that have positively impacted the majority of Kaduna residents.

Rt. Hon. Yusuf Zailani,

Speaking during a condolence visit by Governor Uba Sani and senior government officials at his family home in Rigachukun, Igabi Local Government Area, Zailani highlighted key achievements of the administration. He praised the governor for improving security, distributing free fertilizers to farmers, and advancing rural infrastructure, including road construction.

Zailani specifically lauded the long-awaited construction of the Gadan-Gayan to Kujama Junction road, a project that had been neglected for 46 years. He revealed that he had casually mentioned the road’s poor condition to the governor, and within a day, officials were on-site taking measurements. “Today, the road is nearly completed, with only a link bridge remaining,” he noted.

The former Speaker emphasized the economic benefits of the project, particularly for farmers, stating that many rely on good roads for transporting their produce. He also hailed the governor’s unprecedented move to distribute fertilizers free of charge, describing it as a major boost for the state’s predominantly agrarian population.

On security, Zailani credited the Uba Sani administration, alongside President Bola Tinubu and National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu, for significantly improving safety across the state. “Our people now move freely and can farm without fear. This is a major achievement,” he remarked.

He also acknowledged the establishment of a Skills Acquisition Centre in Rigachukun, which is expected to train about 1,500 youths annually, equipping them with National Board for Technical Education (NBTE)-certified skills to enhance their employment opportunities.

Zailani, a grassroots politician, declared his unwavering support for Governor Uba Sani, vowing to resist political opposition in Igabi Local Government. “This area is a stronghold for President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani. No opposition will be allowed,” he asserted.

The former Speaker concluded by calling on residents to continue supporting the administration, emphasizing that Uba Sani’s leadership has delivered what past governments failed to achieve.
