A Popular recreational facility in Kaduna, Green Apple Guest House, has been demolished.
Though details are still sketchy, it was gathered that it was undertaken on the orders of Ravina Ventures, who have a pending legal issue on ownership of the land where Green Apple is located.

At the site of the demolition when our correspondent visited, MD of Green Apples, Tisan Mallam said that property worth millions of Naira were destroyed.
“For now we are yet to evaluate the damage, it runs into millions of Naira,” he said.
On why the property was demolished, he said they were still at a loss, as no prior notice was handed out to the management.
“We are asking ourselves same question of what happened. We woke up around 5:30am and noticed bull dozzers and police presence.
“I asked what happened and they shot in the air, making me to withdraw.
“I had to move back. We later found out it was someone we had something legal with previously,” he said.
On insinuations on the social media that the Kaduna State Government was behind the demolition, he described such as baseless.
“It is unfounded allegations that it was the state government that took up the demolition.
“The person acting on behalf of the company, Ravinia Ventures, laying claim to the property, represented by Biola Oyebanji (SAN) were responsible,” he alleged.
