A seven-year rift between Nigerian music superstars Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage has finally come to an end, with the two vocal powerhouses publicly reconciling in Lagos on Thursday.

The feud originally began on social media when Yemi Alade cryptically criticized female entertainers for enhancing their buttocks in photos to “deceive their fans.” Alade’s post came just a few hours after Tiwa Savage had shared photos highlighting her curves.
The long-awaited reconciliation took place during ‘The Price of Being Her’ panel organized by Entertainment Week Africa.
The emotionally charged moment saw Tiwa Savage, who was moved by a tribute, become emotional.
In a video captured after the event, the two artists were seen singing together and sharing a warm hug, officially signaling the end of their prolonged rivalry and ushering in a new era of potential collaboration.
