IS THERE A CONSPIRACY OF THE ELITES TO DELEGITIMIZE OBIDIENTS? – By Dr Ole Banwo

I was going to stay off the political drama in a country where many do not seem to care about right or wrong, and just face my business, but it is becoming clear right now that there seemed to be a definite conspiracy of the elites to delegitimize the virile Obidient movement out of fear of their passion and doggedness. It’s like the elites would just want everything swept under the carpet while we all get along to get along.

But you can’t build a nation that way! Issues need to be taken to logical conclusio

I can’t keep quiet again despite being dragged myself over some of my positions that many of them disagree with. Regardless of my personal experience, I think People like @DavidHundeyin and the ever passionate and aggressive #Obidients are the ones keeping the real issues alive and should be celebrated by genuine patriots who have not drank the agbado portion of shamelessness

I have been following the discussions despite being relatively quiet and I am starting to get alarmed when I see even highly respected leaders like my much respected Professor Wole Soyinka and even my respected leader @MoghaluKingsley use some totally inappropriate and gaslighting words to describe OBIdients . Ewo ni ‘social media hitlers’ or ‘fascists’ or ‘social media gestapo’ or ‘little Hitlers’ inside this matter against people who don’t even control any govt apparatus

Since when has it been a crime for youths to be passionate about their country ? It’s uncalled for and unnecessary. You won’t keep these OBIdients quiet by calling them names

Why is anyone even feeling threatened that youths refused to just pack it in and move on even if some leaders are tired of fighting? Youths SHOULD be the conscience of any nation

Fact is there are LEGITIMATE issues galvanizing their anger and passion. After-all, it’s a FACT our new president has many unresolved issues they want resolve

– Alleged Forged Certificates

– Allegations of impersonation

– Possible indentity theft;

– Alleged involvement in Drugs ;

– unclear family history

– Unclear Yourh or primary school history  And so on,

Their agitation may not change the court decision but we as patriotic Nigerians should be interested in the truth being established and not try to delegitimize those who are keeping the unresolved issues alive even if we think they are too aggressive

Or is all these to delegitimize them and make @peterobi unviable as a poltician? Nigerians must be vigilant!
