The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.

In a statement released on Sunday by spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, the board confirmed that 1,264,940 results from those two days are now accessible to candidates.
This follows the earlier release of 632,752 results for those who sat the exam on Thursday, April 16.
The announcement comes after JAMB issued an apology for a brief delay in the scheduled release of the latest batch.
The board explained that the setback, which caused some frustration among awaiting candidates, was due to the temporary absence of the board’s chief executive on official duties.
Candidates are advised to check their scores through the official JAMB portal or designated SMS services.
