Also demolished were restaurant and bar belonging to wife of PDP’s spokesman in Kaduna state
Kaduna state Governor Mallam Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai has been accused of demolishing a restaurant and bar, belonging to the wife of the spokesman of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP), Kaduna state, Mrs. Aishetu Mercy Yakubu.
The restaurant, located off court road, Sabon Tasha, Kachia road, Kaduna was demolished by Kaduna state Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA), on Thursday, 31 December, 2020 at about 11am. Spokesman of Kaduna state police Command Muhammad Jalige, and his counterpart in KASUPDA could not respond when contacted, the restaurant owner however said he registered the restaurant with CAC, and showed evidence of registration.
However KASUPDA said the hotel was advertised in social Media platform as venue of a proposed sex party event
“Youths had advertised the event on social media platforms, revealing that the sex party was scheduled to hold on December 27, 2020 at an undisclosed location in the state capital.
Mrs Aishetu Yakubu who spoke to journalists , alongside her husband said she left the building few minutes before the incident occurred without any notice.
She said they have concluded plans to take legal action against government over the demolition without notice as nothing in the property was removed from the restaurant.
Earlier, the Kaduna State Police Command had paraded some youths who were allegedly behind the aborted maiden edition of a sex party in the hotel.
