KADUNA STATE GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES PROJECT CRAFT AND PAY KADUNA PORTAL OF KADIRS

In a bid to provide a viable means of payment of taxes and revenue through a seamless process across the State, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State His Excellency Distinguished Senator Uba Sani, ably represented by Her Excellency the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State Hajiya Dr. Hadeeza Sabuwa Balarabe has commissioned the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service’s Project CRAFT ( Cross – Sector System for Revenue Administration and Fiscal Transparency ) and Pay Kaduna Portal.

The commissioning ceremony took place at the Asaa Pyramid Hotel, with the Honourable Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman as the Special Guest of the occasion.

While commissioning the Project CRAFT and Pay Kaduna Portal, the Deputy Governor emphasized the need for all stakeholders and citizens of the State to pay their taxes as and when due, through the multiple channels of payments provided by the Revenue Service.

In his welcome address, the Executive Chairman of Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, Comrade Jerry Adams appreciated all those that graced the launching session and urged all stakeholders and taxpayers in the State to utilize Project CRAFT which is Cross – Sector System for Revenue Administration and Fiscal Transparency and Pay Kaduna Portal due to its unique features and seamless processes. He said , Project CRAFT will serve as a lead technical platform for all automation processes of tax and revenue administration in Kaduna State.

Attendees of the launching included: Honourable Commissioners, Special Advisers, Heads of Agencies, Honourable Members of Kaduna State House of Assembly, Executive Directors of the Service, kadirs Directors, kadirs Heads of Units, kadirs Stakeholders in tax administration, Staff of the Service and the media.
