The Kaduna State Government said it generated 44 billion naira as Internally Generated Revenue from January to October 2022 according to the State Bureau of Statistics.
According to the report, the IGR increased from 2.9 billion naira in January to 5.8 billion naira in June and further upward to 9.8 billion naira in September before declining to 3.6 billion naira in October.
The 3.6 billion naira generated in October represents 61.2 per cent of the 5.9 billion naira targeted for the month.
It listed the five top performing revenue generating agencies to include Kaduna Internal Revenue Service with 1.5 billion naira, Ministry of Finance 1.3 billion naira and Kaduna State Geographic Information System with 320.4 million naira.
Others were the Kaduna State University with 108.9 million naira and Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Agency with 65.9 million naira. P.M NEWS
