Kaduna State Returns Over 2,500 Hajj Pilgrims Home

The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has so far returned over 2,500, out of its 4, 767 pilgrims that performed this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

A statement signed by the Agency’s spokesperson, Yunusa Mohammed Abdullahi, explained that the pilgrims were transported back home in five outbound flights by MaxAir Airline.

The statement recalled that the return journey began last Monday and all pilgrims landed Nigeria with both their hand luggage and checked-in bags simultaneously.

The Agency assured the remaining pilgrims who are still in Saudi Arabia that they would be reunited with their families soon.

The Agency reiterated that Kaduna State had the highest number of pilgrims totalling 4,767 in this year’s Hajj, regretting that two had passed away in Saudi Arabia.

Signed,
Yunusa Mohammed Abdullahi,
Public Relations Officer,
Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency.
