The Kaduna State has received from the Nigerian railway cooperation the (NRC), the detailed passenger manifest for the Abuja-Kaduna train service AK9.
In a statement released by the commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home affairs Kaduna State , Samuel Aruwan, disclosed that documents received from NRC showed that 398 had bought tickets for the trip but 362 were validated as having boarded the train through the recognized turnsile.
According to the passenger manifest NRC staff and security officials who were on board are not included.
Aruwa said that eight bodies were recovered and were 26 injured after the attack.
He added that investigation is on going to ascertain the status of the passengers who were on board
Aruwa requested citizens to contact the Kaduna state Emergency Management agency on phone Via 09088923398 to make inquiries or provide informations concerning passengers who were on board the Abuja-Kaduna AK9 Train.
