KICK OFF: Emaudo Healthcare Centre Set For Upgrade To Meet Global Standard

Recall that, Hon. Collins Aigbogun during an inspection of the Emaudo healthcare centre few months ago approved the demolition of the old structure to pave way for the reconstruction of a modern standard Healthcare facility.

During the foundation laying ceremony today 13th March, 2024, the Council Boss who was ably represented by the Council Vice Chairman, Hon Innocent Alegbe reiterates his total commitment towards revamping the health sector, noting that his administration would pay adequate attention to the health centres across the local government.

Hon. Collins Aigbogun in his speech which was delivered by the Council Vice Chairman, he said “as a government, we will pay adequate attentions to Primary Healthcare Centres in the local government to meet global standard so that our people won’t have to travel a very long distance before they can access good medical care. We know the needs and aspirations of our people and we will always put them into consideration for necessary actions”.

“The Nigerian health care had suffered several infectious disease outbreaks year after year. Hence, there is need to tackle the problem and the Primary Healthcare System should not be undermined. As the world has become digital and global, our quest is to have a system well grounded in routine surveillance and medical intelligence, adequate management couple with strong leadership principles in the health sector”.

The Supervisor for Health and Environment Hon. Ikhielea Joe Okhueleigbe also emphasized on the resolved by this adminstration to prioritize health sector in the local government. Noting that, as the supervisor for Health and Environment he would always ensure the plights of the good people of Esan West Council are well presented for adequate consideration and necessary actions.

In the same vein, the Supervisor for Works Hon. Peter Oare, assured the good people of Emaudo Community of a well structured Health Centre as his office would always monitor and supervise the activities from the commencement till the completion of the project to ensure standard equipments are used.

Together we shall make Esan West a better place to be and the envy of others.
