
Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatahi Ahmed has eulogized the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki for his unique and quality style of leadership of the Zone and the country at large.
The governor stated this when the Senate Committee on Works under the leadership of Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya on oversight function to North-Central states of the country

visited him at government house Ilorin. He said Kwara State have never had it so good in the area of federal presence in infrastructural development than now because of the efforts of the Senate President. He added that Kwara State is not alone in the good story but the entire North-Central.
Governor Ahmed also commended the Senate Committee for their unrelenting effort in ensuring that the correct thing is done on road contracts in the country. He reminded the the lawmakers that the service to fatherland is only rewarded by prosperity adding that Nigerians are aware of their toiling for the good of the region.
The committee inspected the progress of work at the following areas, namely Rehabilitation of Ilorin-Jebba-Mokwa- Birnin Gwari-Kaduna Road, Dualization of Ilorin-Kulende junction- Oke Oyi Road, Dualization of Michael Imoudu -Ganmo/Afon junction, Ajase-Ipo-Ijabo-Offa-Erinle-Oshogbo Road.
Senators in the entourage include the vice chairman of the committee, Senators Clifford Ordia and Senator Sani Mustapha.
