1. Four presidential candidates have approached the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja with separate petitions seeking the nullification of the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress as winner of the February 25 presidential poll. The petitioners are Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi of Labour Party, Solomon Okangbuan of Action Alliance and Allied People’s Movement’s Chichi Ojei. DAILY POST

2. Aggrieved political parties candidates in Kaduna State under the aegis of Kaduna State Rescue and Rebuild Gubernatorial Candidates Forum have rejected the result declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the just concluded Governorship and House of Assembly elections in the state, which produced Uba Sani of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Governor elect. This was contained in a  statement signed by Amb. Sanin Yaya,Kaduna State Chairman Rescue and Rebuild Gubernatorial Candidate Forum on the 21st march and made available to journalists in Kaduna on Wednesday. The forum called on INEC to do the needful on the purported result announced which declared the APC Candidate as winner in the just concluded election, maintaining that the purported result was unacceptable to them and their supporters. The Federal High High Court sitting in Lagos has struck out the Federal Government’s suit seeking to recover and forfeit the sum of N70trillion it alleged was stashed in 29 bank accounts by some looters. Justice Peter Lifu held that the Federal Government’s lawyers and the private lawyers which it subsequently gave a fiat, did not diligently prosecute the case. The judge expressed shock that the Plaintiff Counsel, Mohammed Ndarani, SAN, and subsequently Femi Falana SAN “suddenly developed cold feet over this alleged public interest case”. CHANNELS

4. Fans wishing to watch the Super Eagles live against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday will have to pay between 2,000 and 10,000 naira
The prize is for ordinary and VIP seats respectively. A Colorado dentist has been charged with killing his wife and the mother of his six children by spiking her protein shakes with arsenic and cyanide, so he could start a new life with his lover, according to court documents. James Toliver Craig, 45, was arrested Sunday on one count of first-degree murder for allegedly fatally poisoning his wife, Angela Craig, who was pronounced brain-dead on March 18 and later taken off life support. As his 43-year-old spouse lay dying in the hospital, Craig allegedly flew his orthodontist lover from Austin to Denver, with whom he had exchanged “sexually explicit emails,” according to a detailed arrest affidavit. 7. The Kano State Governor-elect, Abba Kabir Yusuf, popularly known as Abba Gida-Gida, has urged those trekking from other parts of the country to Kano over his victory to discontinue their journey. Instead, he asked them to pray for ingenuity and guidance for his leadership towards delivering the dividends of democracy. 8. The Chief Executive Officer of TikTok, Shou Zi Chew has said the controversial popular Chinese-owned video-sharing app has never shared the United States data with the authorities in China. Shou said this ahead of his testimony before the House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee on Thursday. TikTok’s chief will tell lawmakers who will be hearing on behalf of more than 150 million American users that the app never has, and would never, share US user data with the Chinese government amid growing national security concerns, Reuters said. 9. The coach of Guinea U-23, Morlayie Cisse, has disclosed that his team will defeat the Olympic Eagles in today’s match. 10. At least 10 fishermen have drowned when a Moroccan fishing trawler sank off the coast of the disputed Western Sahara. Authorities have confirmed that Five sailors were rescued while two crew members were still missing. The incident happened in the province of Aousserd, 220 kilometers away from Dakhla city. It Is not yet clear what caused the trawler to sink. DAILY POST
