The win puts the national team just one step away from successfully defending the championship title they claimed in 2025.
The semifinal clash, held at The Valley in Charlton, London, saw Nigeria dominate the encounter early on.
Millwall winger Femi Azeez, making his international debut, spearheaded the Nigerian attack.
The 24-year-old opened the scoring in the fifth minute with a spectacular long-range goal, setting the tone for the remainder of the match.
Azeez later doubled the lead to secure his brace and ensure Nigeria’s progression to the next stage.
With this semifinal hurdle cleared, Nigeria is scheduled to play the tournament’s grand finale at The Valley on May 30.
The Super Eagles will face the winner of the second semifinal match between Jamaica and India as they look to secure back-to-back Unity Cup trophies.
