The operations of the Civil Defense Corps in Sokoto State got a boost on Thursday when the corps received 6 operational vehicles from the Sokoto state government.
The vehicles include 3no of Hilux vehicles and 3no of Golf wagon
While officially handing over the vehicles to operations department the Sokoto State Commandant, Umar Musa Bala, charged the custodians of the vehicles to use them judiciously in the discharge of their mandate
The Commandant stressed that any officer found using the vehicles for his personal use will be sanctioned accordingly.
Similarly, the chairman house committees on security and special services in company of other members of the committee paid a courtesy call to NSCDC office.
