The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has congratulated Fred Newton Erhunmunse on his emergence as the Chairman of the Edo State Football Association (FA), after a keenly contested election.
In a statement, Obaseki described the outcome of the election as a reflection of the choice of members of the association and other football stakeholders in the State as well as the trust and confidence reposed in his ability to steer the Edo FA towards greater heights.
The governor urged the new helmsman to deploy his wealth of experience in fostering the growth of football at both grassroots and professional levels within the next four years.

“Your well-deserved election is in recognition of your hard work, dedication, outstanding leadership skills and unwavering commitment to enhancing the football landscape in the State.
