Member representing good people of Jama’a federal constituency
Over 2,500 constituents across Jema’a and Sanga Local Government Areas of Kaduna State benefited from a large-scale empowerment initiative organized to mark the second anniversary of Hon. Daniel Amos, the Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The two-day anniversary celebration, which held on Wednesday, July 16th, and Thursday, July 17th, 2025, brought together political leaders, civil society groups, religious organizations, and trade unions in a show of unity and commitment to grassroots development.
As part of the celebration, at least five beneficiaries were selected from each of the over 500 political units in the constituency, with additional support extended to various civil and religious bodies, as well as professional and trade associations.
The event was coordinated by a Central Planning Committee chaired by Hon. Ibrahim Suleiman, a former member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, who expressed satisfaction with the turnout and the impact recorded.
“The anniversary was more than a celebration—it was an intentional effort to uplift the lives of our people and deliver real value,” Hon. Suleiman said. “Hon. Daniel Amos has once again shown his unwavering commitment to the well-being of his constituents.”
Hon. Amos, who was elected to the National Assembly in 2023, has built a reputation for prioritizing rural development, educational support, youth and women empowerment, and peace-building in Southern Kaduna. The anniversary activities further cemented his popularity and connection with the grassroots.
Beneficiaries of the initiative expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful amid growing economic challenges. Many said the intervention reflected the kind of responsive leadership the constituency needed.
Community leaders, political stakeholders, and youth groups hailed the initiative as a milestone in constituency engagement, noting that the scale and inclusiveness of the empowerment program set a new benchmark for service delivery in the region.
As the celebration came to a close, Hon. Amos reaffirmed his commitment to continue working for the progress of Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, promising to expand on the gains made in his remaining years in office.
