The police in Kaduna said they have arrested the suspected kidnappers of a member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Sulaiman Dabo.
The police also announced the arrest of the kidnappers of three students of the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria.
It would be recalled that the lawmaker kidnapped about a fortnight ago, but was released hours later, after the kidnap ransom was paid.
The three law students of ABU were also released after the payment of ransom.
The police disclosed the arrest of the kidnappers on Sunday evening in a statement by the Kaduna police spokesperson, Yakubu Sabo.
According to the statement, the kidnappers of the lawmaker and the ABU students are different and were arrested in separate operations.
