Barrister Muhammad Bello Goronyo, Minister of State Works says road construction is a critical infrastructure component the President Bola Tinubu ‘s administration will not neglect.
Barrister Goronyo said in Sokoto in one of his recent visits while briefing newsmen.
” It is key to his administration because it drives the economy and attracts investors. It is next security “, the Minister pointed out.
The Minister noted that several road projects were ongoing in different locations across the country to enable and enhance economic activities with ease among Nigerians across the country.
He explained that already , the construction works were at various appreciable level of completion to to guarantee smooth and easy movement of goods and people from one location to the other.
” Provision of good roads opens the scope of business activities with less difficulties.
” We need such infrastructure to develop our economy . It will link all parts of the country, strengthen the business horizon and reduce the menace of insecurity on the highways “, he mentioned while urging Nigerians not to lose hope in the capacity of the President turn around the fortunes of the country for prosperity.
According to Goronyo who was a former lawmaker and Commissioner for Information in Sokoto state ” Nigerians should brace the efforts of Mr President by extending support to his Renewed Hope mantra .
” This is the time to collectively come together and make the country our place of pride , full of opportunities and destination of hope for citizens advancement “, he urged while assuring that the APC led government at the centre was determined to reposition Nigeria by providing necessary critical infrastructure, enable social empowerment intervention focusing on youths and women at the grassroots through various initiatives that supports and encourage self reliance and economic independence across the country’s population.
” This are why the President keeps doing his best by also encouraging Governors to recalibrate and step up action plan towards same direction to ease the urge for support at the grassroots”, Goronyo explained.
