Top delegations representing the National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alh Shehu Musa Gabam, were among the dignitaries who attended the wedding Fatiha of Children of Brigadier-General Aliyu Ahmed Mni (RTD) and Barr Hauwa Aliyu Ahmed, a respected leader of the SDP in the North West.
The two wedding Fatiha was held at Beyero University Old site Jummat Mosque and Masjid Jami’ur Rahman Kundila Maiduguri Road Kano, respectively.
The Delegates were led by Hon Abubakar Dogara, the National Vice Chairman of North Central, who delivered the messages of the SDP National Chairman.
He charged the newly weeded Couples Nafisa Aliyu Ahmed, who got married to SP Umar Dandada, and Ahmad Aliyu Ahmed, who also tied the knot with Bilikisu Umar Gambo, to abide by the Vows they made before men and Allah SWA.
He also encouraged them to respect each other opinions, saying every marriage has its unique challenges, but Allah will make it easy for them.
He admonished them to always remember the power of prayer and seeking Allah SWA directions as they commenced their journey as husband and wife together.
Other members of the delegates include:Amb. Judith Shuibu, the National Welfare Secretary of the party; Hon Femi Olaniyi Ferrari, the Chairman of the Forum of SDP State Chairmen; Hon Nuradeen Bissallah, the FCT Chairman and Hon Ali Shatima, the Kano State chairman.
The father of the bride, Rtd Brigadier M.A. Ahmad, appreciated the delegation on behalf of the family and expressed gratitude for the prayers and support SDP gave to his family during the preparation for the wedding.
He added that their present is a testament that the Party sees his family as its own and prays for Allah to sustain the good relationship and grant the delegates journey, Mercy.
The event united several top-notch SDP and other political party members who grace the wedding of Fatiha, senators, ministers, business leaders, and traditional and religious leaders across the country.
