President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hosted Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday evening to address the worsening security situation in the North-Central state.

The meeting, which began around 6:45 p.m., follows a direct summons from the President after the deadly Palm Sunday attack in the Angwan Rukuba district of Jos.
The massacre, which claimed at least 28 lives, prompted the President to describe the act as “barbaric” and vowing that the perpetrators will face justice.
The two leaders discussed immediate tactical measures to curb the violence and protect the lives of citizens in the affected regions.
