The Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Barr. Sunday Marshall Katung, had a packed schedule yesterday, engaging in various community, social, and family activities across Kaduna.
His day commenced with a church service dedicated to raising funds for the rebuilding of Bethel Baptist High School, Kaduna, a school that has played a vital role in the education sector but suffered setbacks in recent times. The senator joined other well-meaning individuals in mobilizing support for the institution’s restoration.
Following this, Senator Katung attended the wedding reception of the son of Professor Matoh, a close colleague and friend. His presence added color to the joyous occasion, as he joined family and friends in celebrating the couple’s new journey.
Amidst the day’s festivities, the senator also made time to pay a condolence visit to the family of the late Comrade Luka Mallam at their Kaduna residence. He extended his sympathies and offered words of comfort to the grieving family, acknowledging the late comrade’s contributions to the community.
The eventful day concluded with a routine family check-up on the family of his Special Assistant, Joseph, reinforcing his commitment to maintaining close ties with those in his circle.
