SENATOR Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko’s elder brother, Alhaji Liman Tambari Wamakko is dead.
Late Tambari Wamakko died on Sunday night at Usmanu Danfodiyo University , Sokoto following a brief illness.
The deceased was laid to rest after a funeral prayer led by Liman Shehu Ardo Wamakko , the Chief Imam of
Wamakko Central Mosque.
In attendance at the funeral were his younger brother and former governor of Sokoto state, Senator Aliyu Wamakko , governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, the Speaker , Sokoto state House of Assembly, Rt. hon. Tukur Bala Bodinga and Secretary to the State Government, Muhammad Bello Sifawa.
Also were the immediate past Minister for Police Affairs, Muhammadu Miagari Dingyadi, a former Nigerian Ambassador to Tanzania, Amb. Sahabi Isah Gada, the State Executive Council members, Special Advisers ,the Galadiman Gari, Alhaji Aliyu Attahiru Galadanci, traditional rulers, top politicians as well Ulamas among other categories of personalities from within and outside the state.
