Says APC Wrecked Nations Economy
As politicians and political parties in the country embark on the last minutes realigments, human rights activist and Senator representing Kaduna Central Zone, Shehu Sani received hundreds of All Progressives Congress (APC) decampees who declared their support for the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), while pledging to work for the victory of the candidate in the 2019 Senatorial polls in the State.
Senator Sani who received the former members of the APC at a rally, held at Sabo, in Kaduna metropolis pledged to uplift the welfare of the people and Nigerians when he returns back to the Senate after the general elections Scheduled for February 16 this year.
He told the decampees who were mostly women and youths that ” all of you have made a better decision today of moving out of a sinking ship and the party of a government that have wrecked the nation’s economy and turned the whole country into a killing field due to the Insecurity that Boko Haram’s and armed bandits have subjected the nation”.
“The best way we can salvage the country from these bad leadership is to vote the government of APC out in 2019. Vote for me and the PRP and let us flush out El-Rufai and his cronies into the dustbin of history and return our State back to the track of development and growth”
Besides, Sani also met with several Gbagy women and youths, under the umbrella of Gbagy Development Association, who pledged their support for his struggle to return to the National Assembly. “You should not allow the Government of Nasir El-Rufai to turn the history in the State by limiting the powers of Sir Gbagy. The esteemed traditional ruler is Sir Gbagy and his influence goes beyond the land of Kaduna, and he reigns over all Gbyagi people all over the world”, he said.
Meanwhile, responding at the rally, the Women and youths leader of APC, Hajiya Binta Ali said that “we have decided to dump APC because of the suffering meted on us by the government of El–Rufai and his poor Leadership”.
“Let me assure you that several of us have decided to leave the party forever and support the PRP in this coming elections and victory is yours, Isha Allah”.
