Commenting on the Gubernatorial Debate organized by the Hausa Service of the  British Broadcasting Service , Senator averred, ” it has shown that our Gubernatorial Candidate,  Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto is not a greenhorn nor immature politically as being peddled by some cynics and doubting Thomases.

“He is fit and capable to hold the office and he will efficiently deliver the needed good governance and democracy dividends to the people of the state .”

He again , appealed to the people of the state to massively vote APC candidates at all levels during the forthcoming general elections.

In his brief but eloquent remarks , the APC guber flag bearer, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto who lifted the spirit of potential voters,  promised to consolidate on the achievements of Senator Wamakko when he was the Governor of the state between 2007 and 2015.

It will be recalled that former Information Commissioner,  Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Goronyo, had since defected to the APC.
