The Police in Sokoto on Tuesday confirmed the abduction of a business man, Alhaji Tukur Sabaru by unknown armed hoodlums.
Explaining the incidence, the command Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), Mr. Abubakar Sadik said a distress call was put to kwannawa police out Station at about 2025hrs of Monday night, revealing that armed hoodlums in their numbers attacked the residence of one Alhaji Tukur Sabaru, of Sabaru Village via D/shuni LGA.
According to Sadik reports gathered revealed that the hoodlums shot sporadically and abducted the said Alhaji Tukur Sabaru.
” During the gun shots, two women were hit by stray bullets on the arm each”, he confirmed.
