Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has downplayed suggestions of a return to the Nigeria Premier Football League following his departure from South African side Chippa United.

The 29-year-old shot-stopper, who became a free agent in February after a mutual parting with the Eastern Cape club, stated that his professional focus remains on more competitive and financially stable leagues outside West Africa.
Despite public calls from former goalkeeper Peterside Idah to consider a temporary stint in the NPFL, Nwabali emphasized that players in the region are primarily motivated by the prospects of playing in South Africa or Europe.
The goalkeeper is currently evaluating his options as he prepares for the next phase of his career.
