Nigeria’s Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has officially parted ways with South African side Chippa United after the club granted his request for a transfer.

Nwabali, who became a household name following his stellar performances at the 2023 AFCON, took to his social media platforms on Thursday to share a heartfelt farewell message with the fans and management of the “Chilli Boys.”
The Port Elizabeth-based club confirmed the departure of the 28-year-old shot-stopper via their official X account, acknowledging that Nwabali had formally requested to leave the team.
The club management expressed their gratitude to the former Katsina United goalkeeper for his dedicated service since joining in 2022, wishing him success as he prepares to embark on a new chapter in his professional career.
