The fixtures are scheduled to take place in Yaoundé during the FIFA Women’s International Window, running from February 24 to March 7, 2026.
These matches serve as a critical pivot in the team’s preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, following the cancellation of a previously proposed four-nation tournament.
NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi stated that the federation fast-tracked arrangements with Cameroonian authorities to ensure the reigning African champions maintain their competitive edge.
The upcoming encounters evoke memories of their last preparatory meeting in Abeokuta, where Nigeria claimed a 2-0 victory.
This series is designed to sharpen the squad for both the continental title defense and upcoming global qualification cycles.
