THE Sokoto state Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) chapter will tomorrow Wednesday officially flag off its campaign for the 2019 general elections at Binji town, headquarters of Binji local government.
Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal is expected to lead the campaign train to the Sokoto central local government axis known for its political strength.
Binji is one of the 8 local governments and strong holds that made the Central Senatorial District which Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko repreents.
Also expected to storm the town for the campaign include former Governor Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, Alhaji Ummarun Kwabo A.A, Deputy Governor Manniru Dan Iya and the state Chairman of the party, Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma.
Others to attend the flag are all PDP candidates, elders, state Exco, members and supporters.
However, the All Progressives Congress(APC) last Sunday under the leadership of Senator Aliyu Wamakko flagged off its campaigns at Dange/Shuni local government, Southern Senatorial District of the state.
