AS well wishers and supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party in Sokoto state continue to pay solidarity visit to Government House Sokoto, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal reiterated he will run a unity government with full opportunities for opposition to participate in the affairs of governance.
Tambuwal who made the remarked Wednesday in Sokoto while receiving a coalition of governortorial candidates in the 2019 elections who paid him a visit on his reelection to identify with his success said he would unveil a purposeful rolling plan inorder to tailor a robust programme of agenda for the development of the state.
” Our government is for the people of Sokoto state and those who are patriotic.”
According to Tambuwal, the era of politikin was over stressing that ” its time to focus on governance by coming together to move the state to prosperity.”
Tambuwal further noted that the outcome of the elections was a milestone that was destined to happen as only God gives power to whom He wishes and He gave PDP.
” Any right thinking person should believe in that which God has destined. We should appreciate the will of God and lets join hand to strengthen the state in all spheres of development.
Earlier,.Chairman of the coalition of gubernatorial candidates forum and gubernatorial candidate of Alliance for Drmocracy,.Suleiman Aliyu said they would continue to identify with Governor Tambuwal both in prayer and positive advise towards making Sokoto state better.
In the same vein, Chairman Inter party Advisory Council, Ibrahim Garba Mabera described the victory of Tambuwal as one which has evolved an unprecedented fortune in the political journey of the state and brought a wonderful moment of joy to the lives of Sokoto people.
Mabera further acknowledged with passion the steps taken by Tambuwal to reposition the state inorder to regain its lost glory of the state.
” Tambuwal did not only fight APC but strong pillars in the party. We are solidly behind his government and policies with human face”, he added.
