Team Nigeria has officially finished as the highest-ranked African nation at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, securing a spot among the top 10 countries overall on the final medals table.

The Nigerian contingent wrapped up its campaign with a total of 24 medals—comprising 10 gold, seven silver, and seven bronze—following the conclusion of events on Sunday evening.
According to the final standings confirmed on the official social media handle of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, Nigeria placed seventh overall, outperforming all other African participating nations, including South Africa and Kenya.
