Thirty-five persons kidnapped in Kaduna community regains freedom

Thirty-five persons kidnapped three weeks ago at Keke Millennium City under Cikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State have regained their freedom.

The victims returned to Keke B community Saturday evening and were received by hundreds of people.

A leader of a Joint Taskforce of the community Uwasu Yunusa confirmed their release.

According to report one person is still in captivity because the bandits demand that his family must settle his release with two motorbikes.

Yunusa said no money was paid to secure their release but a source disclosed to journalist that over two million naira was paid to their abductors.

Those freed include a doctor and fifteen others including women and children from Sabon Gero community in millennium city of chikun council.
