The ESAE University(Ecole Superieure D’ Administration D’Economie, De Journalisme Et Des Metiers de l’Audiovisuel), in Benin Republic, has conferred a Honourary Doctorate Degree, Doctors of Science, Honoris Causa in Leadership and Community Development on Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
The Degree according to a statement made available to reporters in on Sunday in Sokoto by the lawmaker’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Bashir Rabe Mani said the. conferment on the APC Senator representing Sokoto North Senatorial District was performed at an elaborate ceremony in Cotonou, the Capital of Benin Republic.
Accordingly, the conferment ceremony on Senator Wamakko who is also the Chairman, Senate Committee on Basic and Secondary Education was jointly presided by the President and Founder, Professor Clement Adeoti Adechian, as well as Professor Albert Nouhouay, President, Scientific Council of Benin Republic.
The statement further said that the duo said that, the Degree was conferred on Senator Wamakko sequel to his outstanding contributions in community development.
They further described the Wamakko as an astute and consummate leader, as well as administrator.
Responding, Senator Wamakko lauded the University for finding him worthy of the award.
Wamakko who is also the title holder of ‘Marafan Hausa’ said the honor would spur him to do more in respect of all aspects of national development.
